<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing control device for an opening covering material for obtaining high position-detecting accuracy even when merely using a sensor to generate pulses depending on rotation of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A drive unit 3, controlling the opening/closing of a sunroof, includes the motor 4 for driving the sunroof, and the control device 10. Two pulse signals, delivered from two Hall ICs 11 and 12 in different phases and varying in proportion to the number of revolutions of the motor 4, are input to a microcomputer 13, which allows a position counter 32 to measure a sunroof position based on the two pulse signals in consideration of a rotational direction of the motor. Even if a stop mode is present with both relays 15 and 16 turned off, the position counter 32 continues counting during a period of inertia rotation of the motor 4. Even if an inversion mode is present with the relays 15 and 16 reversely switched in turn-on/turn-off, further, the position counter 32 continues counting with the same direction as that before being inverted for a period in which no inversion is detected in determination based on the pulse signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
