<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve tight integration and reduce authoring about GUI. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a system for authoring and executing a wizard, a new wizard is developed from the existing structured content such as a HELP file and a KB article or by using a simple authoring tool (not requiring developmental technique) for an author having expert knowledge of an application. The wizard works on the top of the existing GUI by using an existing automated GUI module, and instructs a user about a method of executing the task or executes the task on behalf of the user. Further, the authored wizard helps selection through interaction with the user and accesses a state of system/user for executing a conditional action.
