<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To branch a laser beam into a plurality of laser beams by using a half mirror and a reflection mirror, and to variably control the angle of the branching direction and the scanning direction of the laser beams. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam emitted from a laser generator is, at last, vertically emitted to the working face of a workpiece. A branching means composed of a half mirror and a reflection mirror is provided at the middle of a vertical laser beam which vertically goes so as to branch the laser beam. At this time, the rotation center axis of the branching means and the progressing direction of the vertical laser beam are made coincident, and the whole of the branching means is made rotatable.
