PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waste management system capable of performing unitary management of when and what company collects what kind of waste from which property and brings the waste to which repository site. Then, an industrial waste treatment company measures the weight with the electronic balance 13, reads the tag number of the IC tag 12 with the portable terminal 15, registers the tag number in the portable terminal 15 with an unloading date and time, etc., and after that, transmits information transmitted to the portable terminal of the industrial waste treatment company to a base server 311 via the communication network 60. Meanwhile, the base server 311 sets aside information transmitted to a communication camera having a photography date immediate before a collection date of the information transmitted to the portable terminal of the industrial waste treatment company, and manages this photographed image by being associated with the information transmitted to the portable terminal of the industrial waste treatment company.
