<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device for an automobile capable of reducing the number of parts by assembling an operation lever in a casing temporarily. <P>SOLUTION: In this door latch device for the automobile, a slit 916 allowing an outside lever 10 to enter when the outside lever 10 is at a standby position is provided on a wall part 912 being right-angled to a turning face of the outside lever 10 in the casing 9. A shaft hole 102 provided in the outside lever 10 is idly fitted into a shaft part 913 of the casing 9 while an operation part assembly 3 is not mounted in a meshing part assembly 2, and a turning part of the outside lever 10 enters the slit 916 to prevent the outside lever 10 from moving in the turning axis direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
