PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the splash of muddy water by rear tires in rainy weather in a vehicle steering device, which allows change in a right and left rear wheel steering angles, on the basis of at least the front wheel steering angle and vehicle speed. SOLUTION: The device includes a rainfall amount estimation means which estimates a rainfall amount during running on the basis of the input signals of a wiper speed sensor and rain drop sensor, and a correction means in which the target steering angle of a rear wheel is restricted so as not to exceed an allowable maximum steering angle set according to the estimated rainfall amount, thereby controlling the movable angle of a rear wheel during rainfall.
