PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a conductive pattern forming substrate, capable of readily manufacturing a conductive pattern forming substrate with a conductive pattern hardly seen, even though a conductive pattern of an organic conductor is formed. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a conductive pattern forming substrate, a laser beam L of extremely short pulses with the pulse width being less than 1p second is irradiated in a given pattern on a transparent conductive layer A1, made of an organic conductor formed on at least one surface of a transparent base material A2.
