<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition excellent in delivery property of the ink and blocking resistance of an image formed therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous ink composition comprises: an aqueous medium; at least one type of colored particle containing a pigment and a water-insoluble polymer dispersant having a hydrophilic constitutional unit and a hydrophobic constitutional unit represented by Formula (1) (where, R<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; L<SP>1</SP>represents -COO-, a phenylene group, or the like; L<SP>2</SP>represents a divalent linking group; and Ar represents a phenyl group or a monovalent group derived from a ring-fusing type aromatic ring compound, a heterocyclic compound formed by a ring-fusion of an aromatic ring, or a compound formed by a linkage of two or more benzene rings); and at least one type of self-dispersed polymer particle having a hydrophilic constitutional unit and a hydrophobic constitutional unit derived from an alicyclic (meth)acrylate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
