<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely recover foreign matters removed from a heat storage body. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning device is used for recovering exhaust heat during combustion of a burner in a heating furnace and removing foreign matters adhered to the heat storage body A for heating supply air to the burner by the recovered exhaust heat, and includes a stirring device 10, a suction passage 20, a first filter device 30 and a second filter device 40. The stirring device 10 stirs the heat storage body A to remove the foreign matters adhered to the heat storage body A. The suction passage 20 has an upstream end connected to the stirring device 10, and sucks the foreign matters removed from the heat storage body A to outside of the stirring device 10.
