<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor in which a plate-like piezoelectric element and an elastic body can be easily positioned. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor 1 includes a hollow columnar intermediate basic elastic body 124 having a plane 124a, an inclined surface 124b and a through-hole 124c, a multilayer piezoelectric element 18 having a through-hole 19a and stacked aslant on the inclined surface 124b, a hollow columnar upper basic elastic body 126 having a plane 126a, an inclined surface 126b and a through-hole 126c, stacked on the multilayer piezoelectric element 18 on the inclined surface 126b, and sandwiching the multilayer piezoelectric element 18 between the inclined surface 124b and the inclined surface 126b, a friction piece 26 disposed above the plane 126a, a rotor 53 driven by the friction piece 26, a pressing mechanism 70 for pressing the rotor 53 onto the friction piece 26, and a positioning mechanism 140 disposed on the upper basic elastic body 126, the multilayer piezoelectric element 18 and the intermediate basic elastic body 124, and positioning the multilayer piezoelectric element 18 in the circumferential direction of the stacked direction of each of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
