<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a word string-retrieving device which not only uses linguistic characteristics (appearance probability) such as n gram but also selects a word string, which includes prescribed important words, as a high-order solution. <P>SOLUTION: The word string-retrieving device which includes a word importance storage part which stores importance score values representing the importance of words; computes, in a node on a graph, positive scores, to which the integrated value of importance score values read from the word importance storage part is added, regarding strings of words from a node at the head of a sentence to the node while retrieving the graph from the node at the head of the sentence; computes, in each node, negative scores, to which the integrated value of the importance score values read from the word importance storage part is added, regarding strings of words from a node at the end of the sentence to the node while retrieving the graph from the node at the end of the sentence; computes the total score of the nodes on the basis of the positive and negative scores; and outputs word strings which belong to a higher rank in the total score. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
