<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily transfer a developer image according to the type of recording media. <P>SOLUTION: A primary transfer roll 52 is disposed in a position C so as to contact with an intermediate transfer body 50, the position being located on the downstream side in the rotating direction of the intermediate transfer body 50 of a position A where an image holding body 40 contacts with the intermediate transfer body 50 and on the upstream side in the rotating direction of the intermediate transfer body 50 of a position B where a first straining roll 56 contacts with the intermediate transfer body 50. The first straining roll 56 is moved upward by a cam 78, when a general print mode is set through a UI device 70, to strain and move the intermediate transfer body 50 closer to the image holding body 40 on the downstream side of the position C. The first straining roll 56 is moved downward by the cam 78, when a special paper print mode is set through the UI device 70, to strain and move the intermediate transfer body 50 in a direction away from the image holding body 40 on the downstream side of the position C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
