PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-aligning roller bearing preventing intrusion of foreign matter while saving a space. SOLUTION: The self-aligning roller bearing 10 includes an outer ring 20 having a raceway surface which is a spherical concave surface on an inner circumference surface, an inner ring 30 having a double row raceway surface on an outer circumference surface, rolling elements 50 rollably retained in double rows between each raceway surface of the outer ring 20 and the inner ring 30, and a pair of sealing members 60 composed of a core metal 61 and a rubber seal 62 covering a part or a whole of the core metal 61 and fixed on one of the outer ring 20 and the inner ring 30, and has a bearing space sealed. In the self-aligning roller bearing 10, a caulking part 61a caulked and fixed in a seal fixing groove 24 formed on the outer ring 20 or the inner ring 30 is provided on an outer diameter end part or an inner diameter end part of the core metal 61.
