PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the content of a stomach, etc., from leaking out of the organ during surgery by plugging a hole formed on the stomach wall, etc. SOLUTION: The endoscope has a ring-shaped member 20 disposed to surround a flexible tube 12 of the endoscope, and one end 20A of the ring-shaped member 20 is connected and fixed to the outer surface 12A of the flexible tube 12. The other end 20B of the ring-shaped member 20 is not fixed to the outer periphery. As the other end 20B is expanded, the ring-shaped member 20 is expanded in a tapered state.
