<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle detection sensor capable of individually detecting particles flowing through a microchannel and detecting the particles at a plurality of points in the microchannel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The particle detection sensor includes: a light source; a first optical fiber group connected to the light source and comprising a plurality of optical fibers 1a; a second optical fiber group comprising a plurality of optical fibers 1b receiving light to be emitted from the first optical fiber group; and a first detector connected to the second optical fiber group and detecting the particles flowing through the microchannel 3, based on a light quantity change of the light received by the second optical fiber group. The first optical fiber group is positioned so as to emit light into the microchannel 3, the second optical fiber group is positioned facing the first optical fiber group across the microchannel 3 so as to allow the plurality of optical fibers 1b constituting the second optical fiber group to respectively receive the light to be emitted from the plurality of optical fibers 1a constituting the first optical fiber group.
