A multipath detection apparatus capable of determining whether there exists any multipath without need to generate and utilize any additional signals like pseudo positioning signals only for the multipath detection. First and second tracking units (321, 322) perform their respective correlation processings between baseband signals and replica codes consisting of the combinations of different reference code signals and subcarriers. The first tracking unit (321) outputs a first code phase, while the second tracking unit (322) outputs a second code phase. A pseudo distance calculating unit (301) calculates a first pseudo distance from the first code phase, while a pseudo distance calculating unit (302) calculates a second pseudo distance from the second code phase. A multipath determination unit (305) obtains the difference between the first and second pseudo distances, and, if the value of the difference is not "0", determines that "there exists a multipath". |
