A SINKING ROPE STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION

A sinking rope structure (100) that comprises an outer layer (1) and a core (10) consisting of a tubular sheath (2) closed transversally by a plurality of welded portions (3) in order to form filled chambers (4) arranged in series and separated by the welded portions (3). More in detail, the filled chambers (4) are filled with a filling material, generically a granular material or a liquid with specific weight higher than one to obtain a sinking rope. In particular, the method for making the core (10) is based on a vertical form-fill-seal process to obtain filled pouches in series.
