<p>Disclosed is a projection display device which projects an image onto a projection surface by a projection optical system by using light from a light source and which helps to realize efficient light source cooling. The projection display device includes: a cooling fan arranged between the projection optical system and the light source and adapted to supply cooling air from the projection optical system to the light source; and an exterior case having an exhaust port in the vicinity of the light source and covering the projection optical system, the cooling fan, and the light source, the projection optical system, the cooling fan, the light source, and the exhaust port being arranged substantially in a straight line.</p> |
