<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a water-soluble acrylic polymer that is totally or partially neutralised by at least one monovalent agent and at least one divalent agent, characterised in that the neutralisation of said polymer is carried out via the steps of: 1) producing an aqueous solution of said monovalent agent and said divalent agent; and 2) mixing said solution with an aqueous solution containing the polymer in acid form. The resulting polymer is limpid and advantageously has a polymolecularity index of between 1.5 and 3.0 for a molecular weight of between 5000 g/mol and 15000 g/mol.</p> |
