METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENCODING AND DECODING MULTI-VIEW IMAGE

PURPOSE: A method and a device of encoding/decoding for performing prediction which is necessary for encoding/decoding multi view image are provided to encode and decode prediction by using inter-view prediction only for pictures included in a multi view image sequence. CONSTITUTION: Whether pictures respectively included in a sequence of a multi-view image is a reference picture which is referenced by other picture included in the sequence for inter-view prediction or not is determined(610). The pictures area encoded by using at least one among the inter-view prediction and temporal prediction based on the determination(620). A parameter about each of the pictures is encoded. The parameter is a NAL unit header about each pictures.
