<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of providing one high-quality screen, when projecting a plurality of divided images on a screen, by reducing degradation of image quality resulting from positional slippage in an area where each divided image is overlapped. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device PJ includes: an image correction device 330 including a positional relation-calculating image generation unit 331 which generates a positional relation-calculating image; a positional relation calculation unit 332 which calculates, based on image data obtained by imaging the positional relation-calculating image projected on a screen by an imaging unit 200, a distance each between characteristic points of the positional relation-calculating image; an image division unit 333 which divides the image based on an ideal positional relation between two optical modulation elements; an image correction units 334 which corrects images divided by the image division unit 333 according to the distance in each characteristic position calculated by the positional relation calculation unit 332; and a control unit 335 which performs control to the imaging part 200 and the image display device PJ. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
