<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply create a multi-function sheet as needed by a user without a special device for embedding specific functions or command information to a medium; and to print information without causing misregistration on a sheet which records positional information by correcting inclination of the sheet, displacement for printing, wrong print direction, or wrong face of the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A positional information recording medium 21 is divided into optional regions. Specific functions (OCR, cooperation with application, handwriting collation, encryption, calculation, database association) are assigned to a position corresponding to the divided optional region for each region, and a form sheet 22 is created at a printer 20 based on the assignment. Data is filled in a fixed form sheet 23 of the positional information recording medium, and the positional information in the optional region divided by a positional information acquisition device 24 (digital pen) is stored.
