METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TWISTED ROPE PELLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet having a high reinforcing effect. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a twisted rope pellet includes: impregnating a plurality of glass fiber bundles L1-L3 with a resin 7 respectively by introducing the plurality of the glass fiber bundles L1-L3 into a plurality of molten resin tanks 30 respectively; arranging cross-sectional shapes of the glass long fibers L1-L3 impregnated with the resin 7 while controlling the amount of the resin by each die 5 mounted in the most downstream part (the right end in the drawing) of each molten resin tank 30; forming in a shape of a twisted rope by plying and twisting the glass long fibers L1-L3 having passed each die 5 into one with a plying-twisting device 50 arranged in the downstream side of each molten resin tank 30; and cutting the plied and twisted glass long fibers L1-L3 with a cutting device 60 arranged in the downstream side of the plying-twisting device 50 to manufacture the twisted rope pellet.
