PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus that improves the convenience of a user more than before. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 1 is designed for performing suitable route guidance from a starting point to the point of destination. The system includes a travelling history storage means 22 which stores a travelling history, an operation history storage means 23 which stores an operation history, a tutorial storage means 24 which stores a plurality of tutorials corresponding respectively to a plurality of navigation functions and also stores a plurality of tutorial offer references corresponding respectively to the tutorials in a plurality, and a tutorial decision means 25 which makes determination as to whether the operation of the user conforms to some of the tutorial offer references in a plurality, and when it conforms, offers the tutorial corresponding to the tutorial offer reference concerned.
