<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for continuous printing when forming an image by attaching ink in series in individual lines arranged along a main scanning direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image forming device calculates ink drying time after the completion of the image forming to a sheet to the completion of drying of the ink the image by subtracting the time after the attachment of the ink to the completion of image forming to the sheet from the time after the attachment of ink in every main scanning lines to the completion of drying of the ink. The image forming device continuously conveys the sheets for forming the image after forming the image to the sheet based on the longest ink drying time among the ink drying times calculated in every scanning lines.
