<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device for an injection molding machine, which can position cores and prevent the clearance between the cores. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The advance quantity and the set value of advance torque and the advance quantity of the second core and the set value advance torque of the first core are read, and mold closing treatment is implemented (SA1-SA3). The advance of the first core is started with the set advance torque used as a limit torque, the first core is advanced until the set advance quantity is advanced, and the advance of the first core is stopped (SA4-SA6). The advance of the second core is started with the set advance torque used as the limit torque, it is decided whether the second core collides with the first core or not, and the advance of the second core is continued until the second core collides with the first core (SA7 and SA8). An injection process, a pressure holding process, and a measurement process are executed, the first core and the second core are retreated to initial positions, mold opening is carried out, a molding is taken out (ejected) from the mold, finishing one molding cycle (SA9-SA12).
