<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that styrene is observed in most of the materials diffused from various home electronics, such styrene being one of volatile organic compounds causing chemical substance hypersensitivity, and a source of such styrene is mostly derived from residual styrene monomer in styrenic resin, so that means to control diffusion is required. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The styrenic resin molded article includes a coating film comprising a hydrophilic resin applied on the surface of the molded article made of the styrenic rein, which coating film forms a mixed layer of the styrenic resin and the hydrophilic resin at the interface of the coating films of both resins.
