PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to a shock in a collapsible mount type lens barrel. SOLUTION: A cam ring 14 is not supported by fitting a cam follower in a cam groove, but the cam ring 14 is held to be rotatable by a straight advance base 15. In such a case, the cam ring 14 is held by a plane part 15b and a pawl 15d of the straight advance base 15, whereby the movement of the cam ring 14 in an optical axis direction is regulated.
