Disclosed is a base station that uses a pilot beacon to prompt for a hand-off from a macro-cell to a terminal, whereby the base station prevents interference with the macro-cell. A base station (FAP) in a mobile communication system is equipped with a transmitter (122), which transmits a pilot beacon to allow a mobile device to detect said station, a registration unit (141), which registers the mobile device, or user data corresponding to said mobile device, that is using said station, and a controller (110) which controls the transmitter (122) so that the transmission of the pilot beacon is stopped when the mobile device corresponding to the data registered in the registration unit (141) is handed off to said station. |
