<p>Epoxy compounds represented by general formula (1) [wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently a C1-8 alkyl group, a C1-8 alkoxyl group, or a phenyl group; a, b, c, and d are each independently an integer of 0 to 4; and R5, R6 and R7 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group]. The epoxy compounds exhibit improved performances in comparison with those of conventional epoxy resins, particularly, excellent heat -resistance imparting effect, excellent solubility in solvent, and excellent handleability.</p> |
