Provide is an on-vehicle radar device and a cover for the on-vehicle radar device which allow precise detection of an object. The on-vehicle radar device radiates electromagnetic waves and receives reflected waves of the electromagnetic waves from the object to detect the position of the object. The on-vehicle radar device is provided with a transmission and reception section which transmits the electromagnetic waves and receives the reflected waves, a detection section which detects the position of the object on the basis of the reflected waves, and a cover member which covers the transmission and reception section so that the transmission and reception surface of the transmission and reception section and the rear surface of the cover member are opposed to each other. The cover member comprises at least a cover section which covers the transmission and reception surface and a lower projection section provided under the cover section and formed projecting from the cover section toward the front surface side of the cover member. The cover section is molded from a material which transmits the electromagnetic waves.
