<p>PURPOSE: A method for modulating and encoding data in a mobile communication system and a terminal thereof are provided to apply ununiform MCS offset considering a BLER(Block Error Rate) and offset per a channel quality section, thereby preventing deterioration of a transmitting rate due to a high BLER. CONSTITUTION: If received data is new, a terminal determines whether the data is successfully received or not through a CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Code)(S2,S3). If the data is successfully received, the terminal sets an upper MSC offset(S4). If the data is not successfully received, the terminal sets a down MSC offset(S5). The terminal sets channel section offset according to a channel state(S6~S9).</p> |
