PURPOSE: A wireless sensor network system and an operating method thereof are provided to monitor battery information and task information in real time, thereby preventing shut down of the wireless sensor network system. CONSTITUTION: A sensor node(110) senses recognition information for an object and surrounding environment information in real time. The sensor node checks a battery(114) and a state of the battery. A central management system(130) is connected with a gateway through a communication network. A control unit(118) calculates a modified remaining amount of battery power according to a charging and remaining amount of battery power by a measuring device(117) of a sensing module(116). The central management system receives the modified remaining amount of battery power.
