<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus such as a digital camera for solving the problem that only a transfer time of a data amount is unignorably long because the data amount stored in a DRAM is enormous depending on a tendency that the volume of data required for noise correction of an image increases due to recent imaging elements each of which has a great number of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is characterized in to include a control unit that divides, into first data and second data, correction data which are used to correct a defective pixel signal included in an image signal representing one shot image, transfers the first data from a first storage unit to a second storage unit before starting to shoot an image, and transfers the second data from the first storage unit to the second storage unit after starting to shoot the image as its control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
