<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform effective cleaning automatically without requiring cleaning of an electrode of a measuring device by manpower, and to measure the water quality of liquid to be measured accurately in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: Before measuring ORP of the liquid L to be measured in an aeration tank, the electrode 1 is cleaned in the gas-liquid mixture state by jetting out air and cleaning water from a cleaning device 6, and the air is filled in a cylindrical body 4 by jetting out only the air from the cleaning device 6 successively, to thereby discharge the cleaning water in the cylindrical body 4 to the outside of the cylindrical body 4 through a filter 5. Thereafter, since the liquid L to be measured in the aeration tank flows gradually into the cylindrical body 4 through the filter 5 by a liquid pressure by stopping jetting of the air from the cleaning device 6, ORP of the liquid L to be measured is measured by using the electrode 1. After measuring ORP, the electrode 1 is cleaned in the gas-liquid mixture state by jetting out air, the cleaning water and a medicine from the cleaning device 6, and then only the cleaning water is introduced from the cleaning device 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
