<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction device and an image correction method, for converting an inclined image into an erect image regardless of size of an inclination angle by performing correction according to the inclination angle of a finger during a sweep. <P>SOLUTION: This image correction device 100 correcting inclination of a fingerprint image obtained by composing partial fingerprint image data obtained by a fingerprint sensor 10 when the finger 150 sweeps on the fingerprint sensor 10 in a state that the finger 150 is inclined has: a composition memory 90 for sequentially recording and accumulating the partial fingerprint image data, and forming the fingerprint image; and an image inclination correction means 60 for correcting the inclination of the fingerprint image formed in the composition memory 90 according to the inclination angle θ during the sweep of the finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
