The method involves producing a sealing element (106) i.e. sealing frame (108), by providing a carrier element (110), which is different from sealing components (102, 104). A thin-layer (112) is produced by partial immersion of the carrier element into a fluid base material and/or by spraying the base material on a part of the carrier element, where the thin-layer comprises a glass material and/or a ceramic material. The sealing element is positioned between the sealing components of a fuel cell stack, where the carrier element is made of a metallic material. An independent claim is also included for a sealing arrangement for sealing between two components. |
