Electronic device comprises a clock change over switch for switching between two clock pulses (CLK0,CLK1), so that one of the clock pulse is made available as output signal. The clock change over switch has tristate buffers (TBUF0,TBUF1) to buffer the clock pulses. A multiplexer (MUX) is coupled with an output of tristate buffers and is so furnished that it gives the clock pulses as reaction on a multiplexer control signal (MUX-SEL) as clock output signal. The multiplexer control signal is interconnected by logic gates with the clock selection signal (SEL). An INDEPEDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for switching over between two clock pulses. |
