The device comprises an electric motor (6), whose stator has a coil (11). A laundry drum (5) is provided, which is mechanically coupled with a rotor of the electric motor. A detergent solution container (3) is provided, in which the laundry drum is arranged in a swiveling manner. A heating element (10) is provided, which electrically linked with the coil of the stator. An independent claim is also included for a method for storing heat in a domestic appliance for maintenance of laundry.
