PURPOSE: A communication device and a communication method are provided to prevent unnecessary operation of receiving and transmitting data through the control of re-transmitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A communications device comprises a receiver, a transmission unit, and a controller. The receiver receives data according to timing which is repeated by a certain period. The transmission unit transmit a signal indicating that data is not normally received at an N timing if the data is not normally received. A controller control the receiver to receive data which is retransmitted until N+1 timing.
