PURPOSE: A wireless communication device, a wireless communication method, and a program thereof are provided to detect a magnetic field in the second wireless communication to control wireless communication by the first wireless communication unit according to the detected result, thereby suppressing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The first wireless communication unit(108) has proximity communication by the first wireless communication. The second wireless communication unit(102) has proximity communication by the second wireless communication through a magnetic field. A detecting unit(106) detects the magnetic field generated by the second wireless communication. A control unit(112) controls the wireless communication by the first wireless communication unit based on the detected result of the detecting unit. The second wireless communication unit performs non-contact communication by the magnetic field through a loop antenna(104).
