Composition comprises reaction products obtained from: (a) at least one monobasic, straight chain or optionally branched carboxylic acid, optionally comprising multiple bonds and/or further substituents, with a carbon residue of 1-29C atoms; and (b) polyethylene polyamines, by a known method, where the reaction is carried out for at least 1.5 hours at a temperature of greater than 200[deg] C. An independent claim is also included for preparing the composition, comprising reacting (a) and (b) at a temperature of greater than 200[deg] C for at least 1.5 hours.
