The profile (1) has a reinforced insert (5) running in a longitudinal direction of a profile body (2) e.g. post, where the reinforced insert is made of fiber reinforced material, and the profile is made of light metal. A closed chamber (4) is formed in a cross-section of the profile body perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile body. The reinforcement insert is fixed in the chamber in a material-connection, form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner. Chemicals such as aluminum trihydrate and bromine, are mixed to the body to obtain high fire resistance. |
