The power tool comprises a servomotor, a torque converter and a control assembly that includes a power supply for converting AC to low voltage DC, a drive controller for firstly converting the AC from one phase to three and, secondly, for delivering the latter to the servomotor, a controls apparatus for detecting signals and data to and from the servomotor / torque converter, and also from the drive controller, and a serial communication port for connecting the drive controller to a computer for uploading and downloading data and software/firmware, used for programming, calibrating and retrieving data incorporated in the memory. The current in the servomotor increases gradually until the converter reaches a preset torque that is programmed to correspond to a specific current that is continuously detected and compared to the current supplied to the servomotor. |
