<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print server system where a user can select a spooler of a server or that of a client from which a stored image is to be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: An image for which the client requested printing is stored in a first image storage means provided in each client 12, 14 or 15. All the images for which printing have been requested from the clients are stored in a second image storage means in a server 16 which manages a printer 18.
