Method for referencing sensors in an IMS telecommunication network

The method involves transmitting an access request (118) by a sensor (116) for connection of the sensor with a telecommunication network i.e. internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network (110), before validating the connection by an inscription server (120). The request comprises specific information coding an identifier, a location and a function of the sensor such that the inscription server controls the referencing of the sensor using the identifier, location and the function during validation of the connection of the sensor with the network. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sensor comprising an inscription request transmitting unit (2) a server for inscribing with an internet protocol multimedia subsystem type telecommunication network (3) a server for referencing a sensor of the telecommunication network.
