<p>The slide bearing device for a roll immersed in a molten metal bath, comprises an outer ring (2) fretted on a sleeve (3) having six open housings (8), in which solid cylinders (5) are uniformly and distributedly arranged at a periphery of the sleeve, three contact indicators of the solid cylinder with a tip of the roll (7), and a stop ring (4). The rotation of pair of rolls is performed on a contact area consisting of two consecutive solid cylinders located on both sides of the contact indicator. The sleeve rotates itself to provide a contact area. The cylinder has a wearing contact area. The assembly of the device is carried out by clamping of minimum cylinders in the socket and clamping of minimum sleeve relative to the outer ring and a minimum torque between the outer ring and a supporting arm. The contact indicator is disposed in the middle of the distance between two consecutive cylinders, and is formed by holes, notches or other devices. The blockage of different elements of the device in operating conditions and operating temperatures is carried out by the effect of differential expansion of materials.</p> |
