PURPOSE: A type-R and type-GR fire alarm receiver system with optical repeaters is provided to establish a fire monitoring system for a high-rise building, a large apartment complex, or one building through the connection of a maximum of 65535 repeaters. CONSTITUTION: An uplink signal path(12a) electrically combines an optical signal of an optical converter with an alarm signal of a detector or oscillator(14). A downlink signal path(12b) converts the optical signal of a previous optical converter into an electric signal, and an I/O port(115) provides the path signal to the uplink signal path. The I/O port outputs the electric signal of the downlink signal path to the outside. The optical signal of the uplink signal path is transferred to an R-type/GR-type receiver(11).
