Subject of the invention is a self-cleaning valve of the device for automatic discharge of condensate from the compressed air system or other gas piping and storage system where condensate keeps accumulating. The electromagnetic type valve operated by longitudinal movements of the armature, meaning opening or closing the throughput by movements up and down is characterised in that the condensate enters above the armature (34), this means the condensate enters on the opposite side of the armature (34) than its output and that the armature (34) features means for condensate throughput on its upper front part and optionally along the enclosure. The cylinder-shaped or truncated cone shaped armature features at least one mean for the outlet of condensate on the enclosure in the form of a longitudinal groove or helix-shaped groove.
