PURPOSE: An electronic coupon selling system and a method thereof using an ATM and a VAN terminal for paying electronic coupon are provided to safely transfer the payment amount of the electronic coupon by supplying the identification number of an electronic coupon intermediating server to a payment institution. CONSTITUTION: An information transmitter(220) transmits information about the kind of the electronic coupon in which a user wants the amount of money and the identification number of the administrator. An electronic coupon receiver receives an identification number of the electronic coupon. An output processor(240) performs a process for outputting the identification number of the electronic coupon.
